If Kia has shown the world one thing at the Geneva Motor Show, it’s that form and function are not mutually exclusive. With the Sportspace demonstrating the company’s innovative style, the 2016 Kia Cee’d GT line debuts the company’s new and improved powertrain option to the European market.
Under the hood, the 2016 Kia Cee’d GT debuts its first new downsized 1.0-liter T-GDi (turbo gasoline direct injection) engine mated to the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which is, “engineered to improve fuel consumption and emissions while offering strong, willing performance and immediate responses to driver input,” according to Kia’s press release.
Style-wise, the exterior of the GT looks ready to pounce with its trademark ‘tiger-nose’ grille illuminated by its ice-cube LED daytime running lights and side sill moldings carried by the upgraded 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior sports higher-quality materials with a new grey, white, and black upholstery option with aluminum accents.
We are excited to be a part of Kia’s forward-thinking attitude, and invite our readers to come visit us at Bill Walsh Kia and see all of the newest innovations of form and function that Kia infuses into its line.
