The 2015 model year just keeps getting better for the Kia Sedona.
The stylishly redesigned Sedona’s sales are up 476% from last year’s sales numbers and it recently added the J.D. Power APEAL Award in the minivan segment to the brand’s growing list of accolades.
This particular award is even more meaningful because it’s completely determined by surveys consumers fill out regarding their satisfaction with their vehicles after owning them for 90 days.
“The redesign of Sedona, which completes Kia’s design-led transformation under the direction of chief design officer Peter Schreyer, is an extraordinary success story for the Kia brand,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning, Kia Motors America (KMA). “Customers want vehicles they’re proud to drive, and Sedona’s superior combination of a strong, confident design, advanced safety features, and premium amenities, is revolutionizing the minivan segment.
The 2015 Kia Sedona comes equipped with a 3.3-liter V6 engine that pumps out 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The Limited trim for the 2015 Sedona also features optional lane departure warning and forward collision warning systems. With performance and safety features like these, it’s no wonder the 2015 Kia Sedona won the J.D. Power APEAL Award.
